Indian Tourist Transporters Association  is a registered national body of “Tourist Transport Operators”, who are  recognized by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, and are solely involved in providing surface transport facilities to the foreign/domestic tourists.

ITTA was formed in late sixties and was reinforced  in 1987 to put forward  grievances, suggestions and demands  to the various Ministries, Departments and Government/Semi Government Bodies and also to work in co-ordination with other trade associations like IATO, TAAI, and  FHRAI

Government of India as well as  State Governments have approved Indian Tourist Transporters Association to represent tourist transport operators in India and we are actively participating in policy making, recognition of tourist transport operators,  as well as, other important activities connected with tourism.

ITTA has successfully organized Four Conventions with the themes,  “Wheel of Tourism” in 2002, “Motoring Commonwealth Games 2010” in 2008, “India without Barriers in 2010 and “Enhancing Capabilities:    Meeting National Tourism Target” in 2012.

Apart from the above four Conventions, ITTA also celebrated its Golden Jubilee Year in 2013.
